The course objective is to guide any electricians through the steps to properly size and understand the specifications of components of any electrical motor installation. Students will learn to interpret motor nameplates, size current carrying conductors, and ground and insulated type wires. Understand and size overcurrent protection of fuse and types and magnetic starters. You will learn how to properly size conduit between disconnect, controllers and motors, motor/controller enclosures.
